A Few Words from Our Master John Robert Simpson joined Leodiensis Lodge No 4029 in 2001.He was proposed by W Bro John L Hendry and seconded by W Bro J T Bolton He has completed all the offices below the chair, and was installed as the Master of the Lodge in February 2010. He is a Director of two companies in the fields of Recruitment and Building Services; he is also a member of the Westbourne House Masonic Hall Company Ltd which looks after the up keep of Westbourne House where the lodge meets. He is married with a son and has one Grand Child. He was born in Nottingham in 1958 and has lived in Newbury area until he 31 when he moved to Leeds with Wimpey Construction Ltd. John worked in the family construction business when he left school, before joining Wimpey and setting up his own buiness.He enjoys all sport and carries out charity works for several local and Masonic charities. His son is joining the Lodge this year which will make him very proud indeed; it will make his son a fourth generation Mason.
